    J/W, where would one place the IAT if the filter is directly on the TB?

    In my case, the IAT is integrated into the LQ4 MAF. For a stock TB, it would have to be placed into a spacer.

    zip tied it to the wiring on the throttle body. it just sat there.

    Why do this Bio? Did you not monitor intake temps at all? an doesnt the iat send some kind of signal to affect the tune depending on temps or is it just strictly reading the temps just to read them?

    no, it affects the timing tables. it doesnt really do all that much once you tune the car to run whatever timing you want though.

    i had it zip tied right next to the cone filter, so it was probably getting damn near what the actual intake air was at.
