Did AutoZone test the battery under load, such as when starting the engine, or just slap a battery volt meter on it and say it was 12.6?

just as a update I did replace the starter after the whole battery was good according to the guy at autozone saying it was good but still no joy. So at that point I was told I might have a short somewhere in the system so I took a entire weekend and followed all the wiring in the starting system from battery to pnp switch to the ignition and all around and the wiring seemed good so with my current knowledge of electrical in Naval aircraft and such it still all pointed to the battery. so I went out to wallymart and got a battery and behold it fired right up!!! and its been running now for a good week and a half. The test equipment the guy at autobonehead's brought out looked kinda like a multimeter just a bit larger and I asked him at the time if he load tested it and he said yes.
