Nope, there are timer, and various other settings, and such that the PCM uses to control the solenoid, drive with it hooked up, then without, the boost hits differently when it is vacuum alone modulating the BBV, then the solenoid in the equation tooOriginally Posted by Scimmia
The solenoid doesn't do that, though. It dumps boost for torque management, such as during shifts or traction control. Where you start getting boost is controlled by the pulley and the BBV actuator. Where you stop getting boost is controlled by when the engine explodes.
