It is nearly impossible. It can be done, but there's so much modifying to everything that has to happen first that it's out of reach for most people who don't work in or own their own machine shop.

It is nearly impossible. It can be done, but there's so much modifying to everything that has to happen first that it's out of reach for most people who don't work in or own their own machine shop.
basically take a sawzall to the underside of the grand prix, cut everything out until you can literally walk, still touching the ground, from the engine bay back to the trunk of your car. Then fab up a new frame and you are now ready to start fabbing up everything else. It's similar to a top swap.
