i iam n the middle of a top swap on my bonneville. i build corvettes so the ls1 tb was what i choose just cause wanted ls parts on it. so i mocked up the intake after the head swap and realized the linkage is backwards for our use and cant seem to find any info on a fix (which looks like is to rotate the linkage 180 degrees)...anyone got links or can tell me what you guys are doing?

Pretty sure you have to flip the linkage over and reweld it.

I've read on here that the Northstar TB has the linkage flipped.

    Reweld it?

Isn't this usually a Gen V thing ...isn't that where it's normally done because the bolts are a square pattern?
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

yeah i was having no luck finding info on how sooooo... i just started tearing it apart...
ls1 throttle body set up for bonn....
remove tps and iac sensors so don't get hurt
remove throttle body blade by removing two screw holding it in
take hammer and knock the linkage shaft out thru the tps sensor opening. there is a washer holding it in so it will take a few wacks just be careful not to damage the end.
this is what you are after...

next you will have to grind the end off of the linkage end so you can remove the cruise nub and the cable guide.

once they are removed rotate then 180 degrees and slid back on. by only flipping cable guide and cruise nub the throttle stops stay in normal location. then reweld the shaft to the linkage

clean end back up with grinder and it ready to go back together

thats it. here it is insatlled
