    Well I have like 7000 miles on my mods.
    The oil (Mobile 1 10w 30w) gets black very quickly.
    I don’t know what’s contaminating it.
    The car also loads up. I drive 140 Highway every day. If I kick it in the ASS
    I see black smoke out the back. Wideband most of the time reads 12.3 but on occasion it’s been 11 ish. Now I can run a mile or two and kick it again, and no smoke?
    So could the car loading up cause the contaminated oil?
    Or are these 2 issues separate. And I have a Tuner, but have not had time to use it

    did you scale your injector table for bigger injectors?

    Blocked PVc was the cause

    what year cars of ours are supposed to have the Pcv? There is a plate on mine that is blocked off that says PCV right on it. Am I supposed to have this from the factory and what does it do exactly?

    The plate on the blower covers your PCV Valve, it is under that
    My car had a blockage for the intake to the Cranckcase.

    Here's part of the issue right here. You have mods and are not tuned, therefore the pcm is doing it's best and in doing so is running you rich.
    With a clogged PCV you should have had other symptoms as well.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    The only other issue was a high pitch squeel that would go away when you removed the oil fill from the valve cover.letting air into the cranckcase

    and what exactly does the PCV do? (newbie question-sorry, it is the only way to learn)

    Gases can seep past the piston o-rings so the PCV system lets those gases exit the crankcase and force them back into the intake so they are not let out into the atmosphere. Emissions thing really.
