Stupid question of the day: Is it safe to assume the plastic would be black and the Al would be silver?

LOL! yeah really... I can see a black gasket with some RTV on it hence just curious if it had plastic tabs on the outside and Al in the middle etc.

Yet another thing to do next summer. Shall be worth not having to worry about coolant though.

yeah...I just noticed my LIM gasket start to leak, one more project before winter...oh well, it is a good opportunity to get a ported blower on there.

Nothing like taking advantage of every opportunity to upgrade. How many miles? It seems 100K+ is the average lifetime for the plastic one.

I'm at 76K so I think I should be okay delaying it half a year. Ontario is already cold and crappy so car projects are already put on hold. Thank f*ck for synthetic oil. I would not want to be changing the oil in the middle of winter.
