But don't get a loan for a new car if your down on money at the moment get a car repair loan and fix whats wrong with the car (way cheaper than buying a car). If you take the car to a shop they will find out whats wrong with it for a fee. Then they will give you a quote to have it fixed. If you cant figure out the problem take it to a shop and have them figure it out or maybe a guy at autozone will be able to figure it out by looking at it and they will probly take a look if you ask. But don't give up just yet and please dont paint your car like that. For me and my friend who (graduated from wyotec for autobody and paint) painted my camaro cost me about 1000.00 just in supplys Paint, tape, paper, sandpaper, bondo, fiberglass and etc... only reason i painted it was because it was a dull purple (i hate purple) and it took a while to do it right easly 5 weeks prepin (on our spare time) but yeah if you want it to look better for 75.00 bucks it won't that way. Personaly buff it and if you want to sand the rust spots go ahead Tape off a square area around the rust spot, sand it, bondo it smooth and napa mixes paint in spray cans to match cars also clear coats im sure if you took your time buffed out your car it would look good again.

O yeah that plug that you are discribing sounds like a fog light plug the light plugs into the plug and then twists into the fog light

If you went to school for autobody you should know that you just can't sand rust away and bondo over it. You have to either sandblast it or chemically treat it, or replace the whole area with new metal. If you sand it and just use body filler(bondo) to go over it, there is still rust there and it will come back. You have to fix it right, otherwise don't paint over it. Infidel.... do you see the coolant puddling anywhere like near your injectors or anyplace on the intake manifold?
