I have a 97 GT na 3800 with a fuel gauge issue. I think I have narrowed it down to the gauge cluster.

Does anyone know if the 97 is interchangable with the 98-03 model years? I read somewhere that the 97 was a different pinout on the plugs to the back of the cluster.

I found a couple of 98-03 clusters but don't want to order one if it won't work. Any one have a source for such a thing?

    Thanks,
    Bob

I am not sure, I would find a 97 because then there is no doubt.

Send this guy an email he can tell you what you need and get you it dirt cheap.

IIRC the Temp gauge is slighly different on the 97s, but still works. Also, various years will have more dashes than others otherswise any 97-03 Cluster should swap in just fine and be fully functional.

I've personally swapped in a 97 cluster in a 2000 GT and i've swapped in a 2003 cluster in a 1999. You should be fine...
