no such thing as a cold air intake. there is only an FWI, short ram/HAI, or open cone.

FWI has the most restrictive setup, but it nets the coldest air (not always the best thing). short ram/HAI will be less restrictive and get a little cooler air than normal. an open cone is the least restrictive, but it gets the hottest air.

depending upon your mod level that should help you decide which one you want. assuming youre asking this question because you have a stock car, then you would want to look into an FWI for now.

I vote FWI because that is the only place you will get cold air from. These are very helpful and much much smoother flow than stock. Whatever you do, please dont get a wizaird or K and N FIPK...........to help us out a little more, what mods do you have, what mods are you planning on getting while using this setup?

the wizaired is a good intake. the k&n is not. the wizaired gets cold air, unlike the k&n that is not sealed off from the engine bay heat well

the se and the gt have they same tranny? to be honest you will probably not notice much performance gain on the 3.1........it is hard to gain HP with this motor with bolt on stuff.......
