    I havent a clue if theres a special tool but what i did was I just took a zipstrip and put it around the solenoid holding it in the pressed position. problem solved!

    hey man i got a rubber band doing mine! haha. Is this a really dumb idea for us tho because it can be pushed into reverse while in drive going forward and could possibly get bumped. Also you can shift gears with no keys when the car is off.

    Kinda scary not having this saftey feature of the lock.

    have you had any problems?
