I have a 2005 grand prix GT2. Just bought it last weekend. The sunroof opened and closed fine at the dealer. Now it sometimes sticks opening and closing. The motor seems to grind a little but I dont know as I have nothing to compare it to. A different dealer said I need a new track assembly and motor. I'm not going to spend what they want to fix it. Any suggestions?

    .
Whenever I get a car w/a sunroof,I clean the tracks with w-d and a toothbrush, then hit it with a nice dose of white lithium grease
Ideally ya wanna take out the headliner.Remove the s/r assembly and douche and grease all the moving parts, clean connections etc.
I just did it in my 93 took half a saturday and, 10 bucks for chemicals.
