Hey all, I'm new here-- I'd like to start off by saying hello. My name is Cal, and I'm 19 years young living in the Niagara Region of Ontario. I sport a Galaxy Silver Grand Prix GTP, and I love it to pieces. I already see there's another member that lives close by who drives a nice black GP... very good looking. I'm pretty sure I've seen you rolling around once or twice...
Looks like a great site, lots of info-- so I'm hoping I can pick some more knowledge from you all
Lets just say today was pretty crummy in regards to my car. A couple major problems popped out of nowhere.
First off, my ABS light and TCS OFF light have come on. I'm pretty sure it's a bad hub (love GM for making sealed hub sensors) but I have yet to get it scanned. My logic behind this is when I get up and above 130km/h, my car begins to vibrate quite noticeably. Nothing fierce, but you can feel it in the seats and see it in the dash. I'd tried to clear the code by doing a reset (unhooking the negative terminal on the battery) and it worked for about a 10-20 feet before disengaging again. The next thing I'm gonna try tomorrow is a visual inspection... any help in diagnosis is appreciated. I know GP's are ridden by this ABS horror story all through the years.
Secondly, my power steering (I know because the ABS is non-functional, the MagnaSteer is disengaged...) tank has run empty... giving me a nice squealing from under the hood as the car screams to turn. I've topped it off with Lucas Power Steering Fix... and I'll see where it goes from there. I'm assuming it's a bad seal or a line that's been snagged and ripped, so I'm hoping it's nothing major.
Third, my A/C no longer works. Sounds like the compressor clutch is not engaging, so I'm hoping a refrigerant recharge will fix it... any thoughts?
After I can resolve all this, I'm looking into beginning the modding stages...

I'm a rookie when it comes to cars, but I know enough to keep it maintained. The only mod I have is that I have a K&N Cold Air Intake, and nice Perelli's, haha.
Thanks in advance for your help and input!
Cheers!
