I have been having some ongoing issues with 98 gp after an unintended visit to water filled ditch in February. Rght now the remote is not working. I reprogrammed it to my 99 Regal and it worked--to some extent. Anyway, it appears the remote is not my issue, any suggestions on where to go next?

The battery may be going dead in the keyfob. One of mine did for the '98 so now I'm using the other one.

So what kind of issues with the car or is it just fob related?

Replaced BCM, Airbag Control Module, all fluids twice. Ended up having to replace tranny, headlights, fogs. The remote is not a big deal with all of this but just frustrating since the BCM was replaced. I may try programming my 1999 Regal's remote and see what happens...

Programmed Regal fob and it worked fine. Bought 2 used fobs on 3bay so now I have spares. When I took the old one apart there was a pretty good accumulation of corrosion, crud, etc.
