Hey i have a 1997 GT with about 144,XXX miles on it, would it be a wise idea to put a cold air intake on it or is that just too much miles? Any help is appreciated

A cold air intake is not going to make enough of a difference to hurt the car in any capacity.

just don't get too crazy with modding unless u want to replace that weak vacuume controlled tranny.
