Well... No dice on any good pictures from me. It was too dark under the car to get a picture worth posting. My popping is getting worse, though. I'm almost starting to wonder if it may be the new strut mounts I installed 6-months ago...

My car does it too,2000 GTP. I have new front struts coming and new top bearings also. There is a lot of force on those struts, and mine are origanal at 140k. I have never had tie rods, ball joints, or bushing make this kind of noise, this is my first strut suspension FWD car I ahve had, been a dedicated full frame, boudle a-arm type guy forever. I have had bushings completly missing from MY 86 SS when I bought the car, and all it did was squeek, it was the uppers in that case.

I don't think the strut mounts are my issue.... wondering about my inner tie rod ends since there original.......
Tie rods make life nasty if they take a crap...they are cheap too...might try it man...
I wonder how hard they are to change? I priced them, hate to waste the money if it don't fix it. I may do it though, they have to have some wear on them you'd think.
I went ahead and replaced my inner tie rod ends today. They were rough, needing to be replaced anyway. Mileage took there toll on them. Unfortuneitly, besides gaining slightly tighter steering, the noise is still there so no bueno.
Guess i'll have to live with it until it fails hardcore one day...
I'd try the strut mounts, I've got the same noise I think and that's what I'm about to change. Give me an update if you find the problem
Hope you get it figured out dude...it just sucks having to go back and replacing something time after time or something different and not knowing if it is going to fix it or not.
I'm pretty sure it's not the strut mount. Mine are new Gabriel units.
Tire rods/tire rod ends? Axles?
Tie rods inner and outer new, my CV joints are original but look fine. Besides, if they were bad i'd think they'd be making more noise or doing it all the time, not when I brake hard or scratch into 2nd....
