I tried searching, a little, but i'm looking for some cosmetic mods to do to my prix, body kit, neons, carbon fiber hood, and a nice big fart can, get ya?
nah, just lookin for some subtle mods, like some chrome trim not door trim, that looks fugly, but I see on the g6's the doors have chrome trim by the windows and around the front grill there is a small strip of chrome, i love that look, just wondering if anyone knows some good websites for mods, btw, mine's an 06... ill try to get a pc up, again.
bythe way... i'm going to remove my muffler, soo how that sounda and works out, but some0one i know said that removing my muffler is going to mess up the O2 sensor... and it will say to repair the engine... is this true? anyways, if i dont like the mufflerless way, im going to remove my resonator and put on a super 44 muffler.

one more question, whats the resonator do?

    chrome accents are ugly.

anything other than stock on the exhaust sounds like garbage. the mufflers have nothing to do with the o2 sensors.

the resonator keeps drone and rasp down. you want to keep it. if you do anything switch the mufflers, then bash your head against a wall after you hate it, then switch back.

though i dont personally like chrome accents u might be able to find some at autozone...or even ask a pontiac dealership they may have a supplier.

If u r planning on removing the resonator n e ways get rid of that first before u remove the mufflers...it will give you some more sounds without being too obnoxious..look up some vids on youtube do a search for grand prix no resonator. just be warned that the 3.8 gets super raspy when u start messing with the exhaust so if look up some vids before u do n e thing crazy

THAT^^ is the reason why people should NEVER get chrome accents.

Never get rid of the resonator...EVER! IT sounds like epic ass without it. Wanna know what a grand prix sounds like with a awesome camera/sound with headers, no cat, no res. and flowmasters? http://kcpmc.vidiac.com/recentvideos...6501255611.htm

That is why you never get rid of the resonator.

the camera makes it sound that way, its better in person. anyways, ill be redoing it later, when i go twincharged sts, that exhaust was cheap and easy to do.

I would NEVER get generic chrome accent... like i said, subtle chrome, im not chroming every crack around my door, that looks like ****... on seen it look god once, on a dodge mega cab, black, anyways... just subtle chrome, especially around my grill, like the g6, its like 3/16 border.. it looks sweet, and then i like the wondows... anyways.. i now have soem money to spend, since i sold my s10...got 1900, shoula invest in a turbo... but alas, my parents would never let me... even though i'm 18.... and a gp with a turbo mite not run the best on our farm gas... need premium rite?

so yep.... just gonne tak out the muffler see what its like... and im gonna weld my turbo whistle in there all my friends are buying them now... sounds pretty good

Unless you have forced induction, a V8, or some crazy tune there is no need for running premium. And for $1,900...you might get the turbocharger and intercooler core. You're gonna need another...hmm...$5,000+ to make it perfect and problem free.

Turbo whistle huh? Jesus...we got a ricer.

It sounds good at idle...but then there is that buzz and rasp. If you got a glasspack for like $30 it would take care of all of that and sound 100 times better.

you guys made fun of me earlier for my whistle... i dont care, still sounds good.
anways... cut off my muffler with a hacksaw, arm felt like jello, i didnt want to weld on te pipe... because i dont want this to be a permanant mod.. so im gonna cut some slits in the pipe and clamp it on.
anyways it sounds good, theres no rasp... it almost sounds v-8 ish... but i was driving around with the pipe not fully coming out the back so it was echoing off the body, kinda loud.
oh ya, i also back into a stup while looking at a chevy duramax truck... very small damage

Turbo whistlers are for people that drive Honda's. Don't embarrass yourself.

i am all for difference of opinions but please for the love of god do not put a whistler in your exhaust... it may sound cool but in the car world that would be as lame as a 18 still playin pokemon if u want to be cooler than your friends u will make fun of them to no end for having whistlers...

if ur gunna spend n e money on apperence dont waiste it on chrome trim spend it on tinting you windows and maybe some sweet looking rims with a good set of tires...that is a much more mature what to go as far as looks

Minichopper6hp---that exhuast sounded good..for a 3800...true 3800s sounds raspy but their is no way around it if u want to get the extra hp from a exhaust
