looking to buy hptuner form intense next week. does anyone know if it'll run on windows xp and what kind of connection it has for plugging into the computer. the geek squad guy at best buy needs to know because im getting the computer now. also can u run codees andwatch the operation of the pcm and sensors in real time on this tuner? if anyone knows id appreciate some input.

yes, it will run on windows xp. it has a USB connector.
you can scan, check codes, tweak things, turn codes on and off, etc. it is really THE best tool you can have for a car.

I thought they stopped production on XP and now everything is Vista. Maybe enough people b*tched about Vista that they are still producing XP?
IDK...all I've seen is Vista off the shelf and no XP.

if you didnt get yourself a copy of XP before vista took over then that is your fault.
i dont see why HPTuners wouldnt run on windows 98...its just a normal program that reads data through the USB port..
