Won't really change the exterior sound much. Just how much you hear it inside.

You'll hate the interior drone after a while. One road trup in a car with no res and you'll understand.

Yup...interior drone is horrible. Get a aftermarket exhaust without the resonator and it sounds like ass.

Replace the mufflers. IMO these cars only sound good at idle anyway. Once you give it gas the best part is the blower or turbo sound.

Before Resonator: Video - xp start up - exhaust gtp

Same Exhaust WITH Stock GM Resonator: YouTube - GTP Exhaust

Do you have a GT or GTP? Either way a catless Downpipe always makes for better sound even with the stock or aftermarket mufflers

mine isn't really raspy while driving only if you are sitting at a dead stop in park or neutral and rev up the motor

rasp is only when you let off the throttle anyway...

besides, the resonator makes it nice and quiet. i love having a stock catback again.
