Well it was a lil bit chilly on my way to work Friday so I had my heated seat on. Usually when I get to work I sit on my car (shut off) for a few mins and listen to radio talk show. Well I noticed that my heated seat was staying warm, I thought it was weird but thought maybe its just taking longer to cool off or it just seems warmer cause it was getting warmer outside. Well I actually get out of work on time Friday and but guess what my key remote isnt working, great my battery was dead, and I instantly knew that my heated seat had not turned off. So I try starting..its dead and my key is locked in the ignition, so I get it jumped but my heated seat wont turn off!!! and there is no way I would be able to drive from Owosso to Flint with it on especially with how nice the weather was Friday. Luckily I had my manual still in the car was able to get in the glove box and take out the heated seat fuse. Could you imagine driving that far like that? there would some major swass (sweaty a$$) lol

Anyways planning to get it looked at soon, is that an issue were I would have to take it to a dealer??
and if that is the case, was that recall ever made official yet, if so Ill just do that while there.

could be possible that the relay controlling the heated seat melted the contacts together causing it to stick closed, or maybe the switch is messing up. try those things first
