I bought a JMB fwi from TDC on here for my 00 gp gt. It doesnt fit, do i need to cut the pipe down to make it fit or the actual brace. I am leaning towards the pipe as the brace i believe holds up the bumper.

you had to cut the support brace some. you could have cut it out, i dont think it would have changed anything.

go to home depot and look in the roofing section, i dont know what is called, maybe roofing shield??? but its like a block off that has a place where a pipe can go threw. put that over the intake, up against the fender and it will block off the hot air from the engine bay.

youre supposed to cut the brace off. i dont have one on my car cause the douche before me ran an FWI all the way down to the bottom of the fender. talk about restrictive bends...

no, he is making his own intake that is similar to the JMB, but is clearly better since it doesnt smash the filter against the fender.

Yea it was just an extra JMB fwi he had previously used. N ill def have to look in home depot for that "heat shield". What does that brace hold up btw? Just curious if i go back and cut it out
