Alright, I'm losing my patience, my 3rd window regulator has gone on my car in the last 2 years.
No way in hell I'm spending the $630 the Stealership wants from me for one. I already had my door panel off and managed to push the window back up, but if I find one at the junkyard how do I swap out the old one?
Just unscrew the old one out? I'm not too sure what to do with the part that connects to window pane itself? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciatted!

yeah.. tape up the window.. pop the door off.. the door is 2 hex screws then start pulling straight back from the window panel and work your way around. then un-bolt the window regulator and motor.. then you might have to move the window down a little.. unscrew the window from the clips attatched to the regulator.. it's not that bad.

yeah, it's pretty straight forward. Sounds like they're the same POSes that they use in the Regal, I've gone through 6 so far. The window is held on the regulator by 2 bolts, the regulator itself is held on by 4 bolts, and the motor is held on by 3 bolts. I usually unbolt the window first, then regulator, then the motor, then reach in and unclip the electrical connection on the motor. Pull it out, stick the new one in, and reverse.

I donno how you guys are going through so many regulators i've only put one in my car in 7 years.

If you have an OReillys near you, buy the motor/regulator setup there, its got a Lifetime warranty and you can't beat that, especially with you guys destroying them alll the time......
