Need some help with electrical problem on a 2004 Grand Prix. This AM my daughter called and said her fan continued to run with engine off, I assumed it was radiator cooling fan but it is the interior heater/AC fan motor. Nothing turns it off short of disconnecting battery. Is there another relay or fuse in the circuit other than in the fuse boxes?

    Found the Problem

    Service bulletin #05-01-39-001A
Blower Motor Inoperative or Intermittent, Blower Speed May Drop or Blower Continues to Run After Key Off

Seems this condition is possible on 2004-2005 Grand Prix, fix is to install a capacitor at the blower motor control module connector but if it continued to run after switch is off then the control module needs to be replaced too. Of course none were done under warranty! The module costs $90.49, capacitor $11.42 and dealer wanted $75.00 to install.

Anyway, thanks to everyone who didn't respond!
