Hello.. We are just shoveling out from a Blizzard yesterday!!
I have a 99 GP. Last weekend i replaced the blower motor resistor. It had died for some reason. I figured i was in the clear with a new one. Today I find that its fried again. So what are the reasons they blow? I am thinking this one went because of water that got on it. Driving home in the Blizzard yesterday i had fog and water running down the windshield... and everyonce in awhile that happens with the ac on. So am i correct to assume its going because of water leaking in from the cowle? or is there something else going on?

    Let me know.. Myrtle

    Moved to correct section.

There could be a couple of issues here. One could be your blow motor is actually going bad and causing the blow resistor to overload. The other like you mentioned could be the problem as well. Contact Reptile here on the boards, he and Abrasive are selling an item that helps to illiminate the problem of water getting into the blower motor.

    I hope that helps!

And welcome to the forums too!
