hello names Dave, my girl just bought a 95 gp se and the ses light is on and i know the car has obd 1.5 on it is their a way to check the codes withought a scan tool auto zone and advanced said they wont check it.

Not that I know of. I know with my old mustang you could jump a wire off and the CEL would flash. And in the haynes manual they had what those flashes ment.
95 should be obd1 and use to that's all autozone or anybody would do untill about 2 years ago. Usually the kit's that they have come with multiple connectors for different cars and 0bd1. The excuse i use to always get when i would go up there with any obd2 car a about two years ago would be...We lost the adapter peice. Almost every scan tool now does both obd1 and obd2.
I would keep checking different stores. I know advance does it here also.

TDC is right, keep checking stores, I know of about 6 in the harrisburg ,PA area. some have them, some SAY they don't have them, SOME will admit they don't know how to use them! good luck and ask for the manager and tell them your going to Auto-Zone if the don't produce some thing to help troubleshoot your problem!
