having that obd port functioning would help ya here.
i wonder- with the sympoms showing and except for the gas smell-
if crankshaft and/or camshaft position sensors are faulty.

id get that thing in the air and check every inch of fuel supply right to the tank first. have it running when looking.
have you checked fuel pressure at the rail?

How would I do that sir? I think I may have done that, after unscrewing the cap on the metal tube in front/top of the supercharger, I pressed the button with my thumb, hand in between it and my face, and it somehow squirted gas in my face anyway, so it seemed like there was plenty of pressure at that spot. Enough to squirt in a curved motion around my hand and straight into my face. So anyway, I don't think it's a fuel leak pre injection.

you have to have a pressure gage. AZ rents em. i cant say what the spec on the pressure is to be, but id assume in the 50psi range-something that cant be determined by pressing on the schrader vavle.
rent it out, check the pressure and leave the gage on there to see if the pressure drops over time.
