I am looking to install my ZZP catless downpipe and I was planning to delete the resonator at the same time but I was wondering how raspy it will get with no cat and no resonator with stock muffs?

I only ask because the flange that bolts the DP to the resonator is rusted together and looks like it would not be reusable so there would have to be some cutting and a welding of a new flange

you can get a glass pack and have the shop weld a new flange on the end and then use that if the res is that far gone.

Well the resonator is fine its just the flange that's all rusted to sh*t, would a glass pack change the sound much?

not at all. res and a glass pack are the same thing really. for 25 bucks its a cheap way to get a replacement on there.

I will inject and say that it really depends on your mufflers. If you're running stock, then yes, it will be raspy. With borla mufflers and high flow cat/headers it's only a tiny tiny bit louder than stock you can barely hear it in the cab. Now, that being said, not sure how a supercharged engine differs from a n/a like mine, plus it's mainly stock... lol

When I bought my car, the resonator was gone and stock mufflers were there. I had no drone and the tone was nice.
