    Hey folks,

I have a set of those PFYC fog lights with integrated Halos and they suck.

    The Halos, I mean.

The fog lights themselves are pretty bright, I like that part of them.

But the Halos are so dim you can barely see them.

superbrightleds.com to the rescue with these inexpensive OLED Halo rings and covers. They attach easily with some all weather exopy and are ridiculously bright- much brighter than the headlights and fog lights combined.

So I wired them up to the parking lamps but I'm thinking I'd just like them to be wired up to come on with the stock DRL's (which I haven't disabled).

Can I just tap power on one of the three wires of the headlight harness? If so, which one? Thanks in advance, one of them must just be the DRL's.

Anyhow, here's what they look like at dusk on the car, in the first pic, it looks more like the fog lights themselves are on. In the second, which is a bad pix, apologies, you can see the ring more clearly.

I'd really like them just to come on with the DRL's.

PS: don't forget to make fun of my headlight covers

You could do that, or tap into the DRL circuit. Get your hands on the DRL diode, blue wire is for the headlights.

Blue wire is for headlights on the harness to the headlights or for the DRL module? Is the DRL module the one with the heatsink under the dash?

The blue wire must be for "headlights", so you could tap into it anywhere you like. I just thought the DRL module would be easiest, unless you need to run the wires under the hood, then the headlight plug would be easier.

DRL module is the heatsink thingy inside the dash:

Ah, gotcha, thank you. Yeah, I'd rather not run the wires, I think I'll just tap that blue plug- thank you
