So it's starting to warm out n here in Philly we've already had days above 90 so I'm tryna get my air conditioning working. I'm currently driving a 98 GP Gt I got from my cousin. He had it for a few years, ran into some issues with it, sank a ton of money into it then parked it for like 2yrs. I bought it from him, got it running good again an now it's my daily. While he had it the a/c stopped working and the compressor seized up. Being cheap he just got the bypass pulley n put that on. So about a wk ago I took the compressor off my 2000 Grand Prix Gt n stuck it in the 98. I still have to replace at least the receiver dryer but I've noticed the compressor clutch doesn't engage and there isn't any power getting to it. While tinkering trying to figure out why I noticed that not only was the HVAC CTRL fuse missing, there was no negative side connection for the fuse to go in. I went n got the repair manual hooping the wire diagrams could show me where that fuse was grounded but no luck so far. I'm really not trying to spend the redicous amounts shops want to do the work needed if I can myself so it would be greatly appreciated if maybe you guys could point me in the right direction. Thanx.
p.s. The 2000 Grand Prix Gt I've been using as a parts car is a rust bucket and I'm planning on junking it soon. Let me know if you need something off it.
