So I Developed the click of bad CV about a month ago, was waiting on finances to line up to replace them and today on the way to work I developed the shuddering that tends to denote "change it now."
I've checked on Rockauto and OEM CV assemblies are 200 per side whereas off brands are between 40 and 70. Is there a benefit to the OEM axles or would the offbrand/aftermarket ones be fine?
I usually don't go the cheap route on safety/handling parts, but if warranty doesn't cover it there is no way I can immediately swing 400+ in parts and then labor on top of it.
