    Hello all,

My 1999 Grand Prix is having a hazard light issue that's got me perplexed. I have checked ALL exterior lights, running, brake, back up, left and right turn etc and they all work properly, however when I turn my hazard lights on all flash correctly except for the right front(even though that light works fine as a right turn signal).

I changed the flasher unit with no change, however I am curious if this year model has a turn AND hazard flasher? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated as I can't find a similar situation anywhere on the net and I need to get it inspected.

    Thanks

What is that bulb doing? Flashing really fast, just lighting up and not flashing, or not turning on at all?

Nothing at all, and the corresponding dash light also does nothing. Both work normal when using as turn signal.

could be the multi switch, the hazard button is part of it.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

You would think if it was the switch it wouldn't work at all. To be clear when the hazard button is pushed ONLY the RF light does not flash all the other corners of the car are fine. And also to clear something else up, there is only one flasher unit right? That controls the blinker and hazard functions?

Thanks for the ideas so far.

Probability is high that you just have a bad bulb. Remove your side marker / turn signal lamps and try new bulbs.
All Grand Prix, all the time. 69 Model J, 99 GT & GTP coupes. All junk, haha.

All the bulbs have been changed and still doing the same thing. So everyone think it's the switch? I really don't want to change it lol

its not hard to change, trickiest part would be the plastic cover and not breaking it. the rest is easy.

MFS as mentioned. It has contacts in it that are probably worn out. I tried fixing the one in my T-Bird, and everytime I messed with it, something else started or stopped working. Very finicky. I just swapped in a new one and moved on to the next problem.
