Is this some google ad shenanigans, or does Amsoil really use a 3800 to tweak their formula?

It doesn't surprise me that they would use a 3800.
They can get pretty hot oil temp wise because oil flow isn't it's best things at doing. 3800's can wear more than other engines, it was fairly common to have a film of something on the drain plug magnet on the car I owned.
The 3800 also isn't the most efficient engine out there.
That's great to know! Amsoil may as well use 3800's for testing, there are still so many on the road. In my GP's, I use Amsoil and never had any internal engine issues. No noise from valvetrain
