Hey guys, sorry to be posting this but I've exhausted my search on locating the issue I am having. I have gone through the forums and tried all the things people have talked about. I have a 2006 base N/A GP. Right before the summer started, my car started running warmer than it had been prior. It would run at around 200-203 degrees on the freeway, but after about 20 or 30 minutes, the temp would go up to anywhere from 210-228. When i get off the freeway it would go back down to near 200. I never scanned the temp when it ran fine, but I would guess it wasn't over 200 by the needle placement on the temp gauge. I have replaced the radiator cap, upper hose, 195 thermostat, water pump. My heater core started leaking so that is currently bypassed, and the lower hose doesn't flatten when accelerating. Cooling fans also work fine, which shouldn't be an issue on the freeway anyways. It's a 2006 so the LIM shouldn't be an issues. The fins on the radiator don't look too damaged or filled with junk. I got rid of dexcool and flushed the engine until there was no trace of orange before filling with peak long life. Just trying to figure out if you guys think it's time for a new radiator, and if so what your suggestion on what brand radiator would be the best. Thank you in advance, and sorry if this question has been asked too many times.
