So this issue started about a week ago. When I start the faggot I get 5+ messages on the dic and I cannot seem to find what the issue is. Stability control off, Abs System off, Traction control off, service stabiblty control, service abs system, service traction control. And sometimes I even get variable effort steering disabled. Unplugged battery no effect. checked hubs they all seem to check out fine. And from what I see my abs unit is fine. Any ideas guys?

its a abs issue, get it scanned for abs codes, no the free scanner at the parts store wont work, you'l need to hit a shop up that has a tech 2 or snap on scanner, or pony up and buy a abs scanner.

That blue plug connects to the harness coming off the steering rack, for the Magnasteer.

You could also check the connectors at the hubs, sometimes the wiring gets chewed up a couple feet away from the connector.

Also check the connections at the ABS module and the BCM, black box behind the driver's side dash next to the door...

Outside of that, sounds like a bad ABS module, you can get them rebuilt for about 100 bucks online IIRC.

I'm thinking the abs wire to hub bearing connectors are corroded. unplug them all and see if the contacts are clean on both connectors. Also if the weather seal is not intact it will set intermittent codes because it will move around and lose contact.

Man.... if we all got a quarter every time this same question was asked on this forum.
"The DIC is being as jerk..... All possible BAD messages flashing... " LOL.
What's with this issue on the 04+ cars? This is an often occurring problem. It should be part of regular maintenance like the LIM's. Jeeze
