I'm at my breaking point with this pos ac system. I got everything installed fine, pulled vacuum overnight, made sure it held vacuum. All was fine until I went to add refrigerant. I hooked up my first can of 134a, bled the air from the service hose, and cracked the low side of the manifold gauge to begin sending in refrigerant. It shot up to 90 psi which seemed pretty high but I started the car anyway. The compressor clutch will not engage no matter what. I pulled the relay (#13) in the fuse box and jumped between pins 3 and 5 figuring that would jumpstart the clutch. Didn't work. Some guys in the chat mentioned the low pressure switch may be the issue, but I can only find one pressure switch on the high side line with 3 wires. I don't know which to jump between or if it's even safe to do so.

One thing I'm thinking it may be as I sit here typing is the plug that goes onto the compressor. Does the orientation of that plug matter or will it work either way?

I'm at a loss as to what it could be at this point.
