So it idles and rev's freely when not in gear right but only when the transmission is engaged the car doesn't want to move?

    That does seem odd.

i suppose it revs poorly all the time now it was reving with no hesitation but not anymore it starts right up an idles fine even if i start throttling it in park it sounds like its sucking air an just runs like garbage while in gear

you could have a bad coil, or icm with the misfire code.

that cam /crank to icm harness is also known to go bad. mine was all torn up, bare wire showing even.

you got the crank sensor tq'ed right? its 13 inch pounds iirc.

with only 115,000 on it its likely never had a tune up, change the plug wires too, get iridium plugs, GAP TO 0.60. NO PLATS. CAR WILL HATE THEM.

iirc it leads tot he large square plug near the coil bracket in the lim, it also has a ground wire near the coil bracket where its bolted down.

the harness tends to fail where it splits and where its tucked in under the water pump.

this was how mine looked when i took it out. if you zoom in, you can see all the wires are chewed up looking.
