I was curious to know if it's good or bad to oil the filter after cleaning it? I've heard it can mess with some maf sensors I have a LQ4.

If you have an oil based cotton filter and you cleaned it you have to oil it.

People who have had it "mess with their MAF" have over-oiled.

if you do the k&n filter and oil it, I would keep the oil to a minimum. too much oil will make the maf sensor not work. you need to cognitive about the amount of oil because too little will decrease the effectiveness of the filter.
