Well here's how things went down lol, parked car and it was running great, went in to play a gig and came out and car wouldn't start. First assumption was battery low, but it cranked like it was brand new, but still jumped it and no luck, at this point called a cab as it was -28 so too cold to do anything. Came back next morning and attempted boost again with no luck, put in a heat lamp hoping the gas was frozen and plugged in the block heater, waited a couple of hours and again it would turn over great but no fire. So gave up on roadside fixing as it was warmer yesterday at only -24 and had to call a buddy and tow it.
Now we have it in his shop and it is getting the p0520 code, so it's something to do with the oil pressure sending unit, possibly a ground has anyone had a bad ground with this before and if so where should I begin to look? or is it better off just replacing the entire unit?
Second issue we found is that one of the coils has expanded and literally cracked open, best guess is that there was moisture inside of the coil and with the ridiculously cold temperatures it caused this issue to happen.
Any help or pointers on the oil sending unit is appreciated
