    Hey guys,

I have posted a few times before on my g/f car which I have been working on and fixing little issues with. Most recent one was the starting issue she was having when the car wouldn't always catch. Cleaning the throttle body and MAF sesnor took care of this!!!

Recently, I had given the car a tune up with new plugs, wires, and front O2 sensor. The O2 sensor didn't have the identical female mating piece as the original, so I modified it to make it work. She drove the car around for a bit, and her check engine light came on. Plugged in my Aeroforce and got the P0053 code which is for the front O2 sensor..so im currently in battle with Napa to get the correct O2 sensor for this..

The second code (P0520) is the "Oil Sender Sensor" which appears to be located by the oil filter on passenger side. Does anyone have a picture of this or a possible write up? I did a search and didn't see anything, not to say its there with different key words. The part is only $12 at Autozone, so wanted to get this squared away for her as well.

Sorry for such a long post for simple question! haha,

    Thanks for the help!

Under Helpful Pictures there's a couple subcategories about engine or back of engine to trans. Look in there and you'll see the sensor you are looking for on the oil filter adapter.

It's most accessible through the passenger wheel well.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    Hey Bill,

Thanks for supplying the information to the location of the sensor. Really helps seeing actual pictures of where the part is located. Does that just plug into its location once the wire connection is removed?

    Thanks again!
