Hey guys I have a 97 Grand Prix GT, have had it several years and it's been a great car. Yesterday morning I went out and started it to defrost it and when I went back out it had died. When I tried to restart it it would crank over and almost seemed to start but would just sputter and go back to cranking. I thought I would start at the easiest solution so I changed the fuel filter tonight because it hadn't been done for a while but that didn't seem to do the trick so I figure I probably need a new fuel pump, feel free to suggest other things if you think I'm on the wrong track. Anyway assuming I do need a new pump I had them price me one at the parts store here and they said it was $240 and there were 2 different types. I was looking online and seen them much cheaper depending on how much of the assembly I'd need, not sure if I need the complete assembly or just the pump.
