Ok, I just replaced the snout for the clunky supercharger this morning, then I turn the car on and the driver side 3 vents are blowing ice cold air ( its like 25 out) and the 2 passenger vents are blowing nice warm air. Any suggestions, I keep reading about people having similar problems but with the ac and the vents blowing cold on the passenger side instead of my case the driver side.... please help, im freezing. ( hope this is the right section )

you think thats what it is? there seems to be alot of problems with them when the ac is on but the cure for that sounds like low pressure in the line ( easy fix) also I had seen lots of people talking about some fuse cluster that unscrews and comes out under the passenger side that costs around $20 I checked the actuators the other day for an unrelated issue and they both worked fine, they seem very difficult to change, i just want to make sure thats it before i go and do that adventure

It would certainly be worth looking at all the cheaper things that could be causing your problem before purchasing it, but the majority of the problems I've seen with that over the years have been cured that way.

Just for haha's would you know of a link I can use to check out how huge of a task this would be, its easy enough to pull most of the dash off to take a took at them but the actual part swap probably isnt easy... everytime i fix something on this dumb car 2 more completly unrelated things break.... : (

Take the ac control panel fuse out let it sit for 5-10 min then put back in.
It worked for me until the actuators finally went.
Right now i am down to manually turning them with a quarter to get either heat or ac2 x a year.

I had the same problem with my 2000 Bonneville. The drivers side blew cold air and the passenger side was warm air. I had the accuator replaced on the drivers side and it worked fine after that.

What is it that you turn? the actuators for me just had a little pole that goes in and out, i can push or pull it in and out if thats what you mean, also i will give the fuse a try. How hard was it to change the driver side actuator and how much if your remeber?

I just went out there and took a quick look at the driver side actuator from under the console, i can see the vaccum lines moving and i can hear it moving, is there a 4th actuator under the top of the dash, one that requires the air bags to get turned off in order to get too, i only saw 3 on the bottom half of the console, one on each side of my controlls and one under the glove box to change the Recirculation of the air. Am i missing one??

I really dont want to go to the dealer with this dumb problem because its going to cost a fortune there, though if it will blow cold air in the summer then thats fine. Does any one know how many actuators there are? I counted 3 from what I could see
