When needing to clean the MAF sensor, what kind of cleaner do you recommend?
I was told by a service manager at a GM dealership to just spray it good with carb cleaner.
A local mechanic said to use brake cleaner.
Another mechanic said to never ever use carb cleaner or brake cleaner, and to use the quality electronic cleaner.
WallyMart carries these products at a reasonable price, so I went shopping.
Then, I stop at an auto products store, and see CRC Mass Air Flow sensor cleaner.
I figured I better check to see what 3800 owners have to say about this?

I've used brake cleaner before and it didnt kill it but using the right stuff for it is just better piece of mind.
