On my 05' the HUD always displays the temp as 105*, 146*, 176*, 94* and every once in a blue moon, about the correct temperature. I have checked and found a temp sensor in the bumper cover and changed it to no real effect. I have followed the wires as far as I can and haven't found any breaks and have lost it back into a larger loom on the Passenger side. Bobba got me a schematic of the HUD, but there were missing pages I think as he had told me before hand they were pretty worthless. The thing that gets me is that if I read Ambient Temp through Torque Pro it is correct. Does anyone have a complete Schematic for the 05'?

    Thanks,

    Jeff

I think that's the one I am talking about, are there more than one sensor in that area besides the SRS?

Nope, that's it. If you replaced that and it still doesn't work, your HUD might be having issues.

Hmm I wonder where next then. BTW if it was using the MAF IAT then mine were going to be sky high. I have he MAF out of the heat of the engine compartment now and my IAT's are much closer to ambient like this morning my IAT's were about 65-80, but the HUD still says 105*. Before my IAT's would be in the 140-170 range.
