^^^^Hey now. none of that.
I downshift to slow my car down and not use my brake lights while passing cops... but other than that.. I feel it would heat up the tranny fairly quicky manully shfting it.
If you get a PCM tune, it virtually eliminates shifting. 1st gear goes to 55, 2nd gear goes to 98.....

wouldnt that cause the engine to go past its 6000rpm redline, and be very bad for it? or does it not work exactly like that??Originally Posted by UR LOSN
ive noticed when im cruising along, then i go to put my foot in it, it takes a moment to shift to the appropriate gear, a longer moment that what i'd like, so i was considering a tuned pcm to fix this, but i dont want to do any damage to the drivetrain... any input would be great
