I tried taking those parts back to said stores and all of them refused to take them back because I had opened the packaging. So I was stuck with $600 worth of useless parts that I couldn't get refunded or swapped for the correct parts. Now I completely ignore descriptions and just ask people that have done the job already or know compatible parts from experience. It may make me look like an idiot but at least I'm not an idiot holding $600 worth of useless parts anymore. So please, if you want to help, great, I know very little about cars and want to learn, I don't want to have to defend myself for asking a cautionary question.

Here's the thing, Scotty is right about you being blind because when you use AAP, RockAuto, NAPA, etc. It asks you what trim you have and supplies you the correct info unless you have a Ferd.

I'm sorry that me asking questions for clarification offends you, I'll remember to put your needs first when I give a **** what you think of me. Until then, you can sit back seat and shut the **** up.

NO **** it's a different trans nig. Saying "pretty much every single 2nd gen w-body car" is seriously vague. You're implying the majority is the same when it ****ing isn't. Christ man.

Since when do they make gtp specific hubs? All the hubs I have found fit 100's of vehicles.

Since when you were going to educate me politely. List over 200 apps that take the same hub.

Just look at the part compatibility list on any parts store for any hub bearing for these cars.

Wow forgot about this. If I'm not busy, I'll get pics of the axle like I said.

Anyways I'm curious about these specific "GTP" hubs as well.

I do get the two of you confused, don't know why. Old maybe. My original statement was in the context of working with one GT and one GTP at hand. In that case- making a GTP from a GT so to speak, by using all necessary parts from the donor GTP, I would want the GTP's hubs. Hopefully this clears it up for you all. I made no reference to GTP specific hubs. I know they fit other cars, you don't get old by being stupid. Ignorant? Sure. Intentionally at times!

Hey, I'm just relaxing and waiting for my cvs to come in. I don't really care where this goes from here, but hopefully someone has an answer to your question.

No worries chief.....gotta remember gm would use the same part to save money in as many cars as possible. Axles and hubs being a prime example of that.

I think my luck is running out. I just drove home, after shifting into drive, waiting 3 seconds, and the lightly accelerating, my left side traction control kicked in and my car popped out of drive. I put it back into park, waited a few seconds, then put it back into drive again and waited a few more seconds and then accelerated. I have a sinking feeling that my transmission or differential is failing as well. Anyone have any insight on this or am I just over thinking this?
