Service engine light comes on intermittently but once i ture the car off then back on the light goes out. Its the light far left of the cluster. Not the check engine light(checked codes anyway, none).

I thought maybe it had something to with the ABS or something(no ABS/traction light though)

Wierd bc sometimes the service light will come on if i turn the hazard lights on, not sure if its related or just a coincidence that the service light came on when i used the hazards lights.

Maybe a service interval or something? Any help would be appreciated

You mean the service vehicle soon light, Regal guy!

I don't believe it comes on for service intervals, but check your oil life just in case and reset it if it's at 0%. It shouldn't come on alone for the ABS, the ABS light would come on too.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

it turns on with the abs, or air bag lights. or any other body related reason, best to have it scanned. it will have stored codes for each time its come on.

the parts store scanner wont work for this most of the time, these are U and C codes.

Abs never comes on, airbag is intermittent as always. Must be U & C codes bc my scanner wont pick it up either. I have a Snap On scanner at the shop ill see if that picks it up.

    Weird....

its gonna show lots of air bag codes. snap on scanner should work fine, ive used it myself on my car before.

air bag could as simple as a dirty plug under the seat, or under the dash by the obd2 port. any yellow plugs are airbag related. also the airbag module under the pass seat could be corroded and not grounding to the floor. if your cowl ever leaked id look at the air bag module for sure.

the thing that leaks and lets water leak on the pass side floor board. its under the windshield cowl. you need to take it off to change the cabin filter. that thing.
