Of course. I pulled it off, cleaned the tape off and started to clean the panel to prep for tape and the rubberized plastic essentially tore. Beyond irritated right now as I just got the car.

Uh-oh. They sure are thin and rip easily. That sucks.
I could go into the story about repair attempts on mine but will spare you. Its tough to make a repair that will withstand re-installation without using products that cost more than a molding. In my opinion, you need another one if you want the rip gone. Have a better day, man. Don't fear the reefer lol.
