what part are you hung up on?

if you drop the read of the sub frame you can slide it out the bottom, seen vids of them coming up the top as well tho.

Haven't started it yet. It looks like to me you have to remove a lot of stuff to fit it through the top. I'm just looking for the fastest way before I start.

Personally I would go out the top to avoid messing with the downpipe. Just take the dog bones loose and prop the motor forward. Hardest part will probably be separating the egg I would think

start with the cross over pipe. easier if the front manny comes off first, take the dp off lower the frame a few inches and its out.

new rear header slides right back up the way the stock one came out.

13 mm ratcheting box wrench makes the bolts to the heads a bit easier.

bills got the header how to covers removal of the stock crap. http://www.grandprixforums.net/threa...he-easy-method

now way its coming up the top with the dp on it still, it wont hardly come out the bottom with it on still. it needs to come off really.

whats the plan here? header install? or just replacing the rear manny due to a crack or something?

I'm putting ZZP's new rear plog on. The DP has to come out to have a bung put in it for wideband anyway.

This. Works all the time as long as you disconnect the DP.

Write up looks great, thank you Bill. It will save me a lot of time. Thanks to all of you and especially ScottyDoggs. I always like to have a change made to my car before street racing each year at the OC Endless Summer Cruisin'. Oops, I mean cruising at OC.
