I replaced the rear exhaust manifold gasket and now have an exhaust leak and it's getting worse by the day. I made sure all the old gasket was off and used Cooper spay gasket when installing.I did notice the rear manifold wss slightly bowed prior to install..any help would be appreciated.

Which gasket, the manifold to head that is metal or the manifold to downpipe gasket that is metal?

I always re-use the factory metal gaskets as they are the best.

Could it be that the manifold is warped?

    Maybe?

You could check it with a straight edge, but it might have a slight bend to it and when it's bolted down it will be straight again.

My manifold off my 99 had a few hairline cracks. Not big, but noticed easily when looking at them

This is funny because I think theres a crack in my rear exhaust manifold now. Gonna check later and Dorman seems to make a replacement so I'm starting to wonder if this is actually a problem

All the ones I've seen crack are on the passenger side of the rear manifold
