Ok, so here we go with this. I have a 2003 Grand Prix GT 3800 Series II w/ 4T65-E Transmission and just purchased it last week. So, I know nothing about the car except of its issues and the previous owner couldn't give me no answers. I bought the car because it was solid and it was something i knew i could fix. Now, I've been having trouble with Stuttering and jerking. I've talked to a few people that know a decent deal about these cars but are never available at the time to really look at it. Now I have been trying to narrow down what could be the issue on why this is happening. I've had it check out at Autozone and the codes comes up, P0440, P0463, P0742, P1811. Now i had looked and started to narrow down somethings that could be making this stuff happen. What I've done so far was a Transmission Fluid flush, Fuel filter, Fuel Level Sensor. Now I had seen something on : http://www.mrtransmissionofmarietta....alsesigns.html. I started narrowing somethings down along the lines of these issues. I started with the MAF last night. I cleaned it with some MAF spray to clean any carbon or any dirt that may cause issues. My results for the 15 min that i was driving around worked BEAUTIFULLY. No problems whatsoever. So, today after I replaced my Fuel Level Sensor out and check my gauges everything was working great. As i was heading to the gas station to fill up, it started Stuttering and jerking again. I am going to be replacing the Air filter here soon and i was going to do a tune-up on it. So, is there anything else i could try or have looked at to resolve this issue so i can finally get this thing on the road in working order. Thank you

The last two codes are transmission related code, both are likely causing the jerking and stuttering feeeling you are getting.

P0742 is a TCC stuck on code I believe and the P1811 is a max adapt shift/long shift code. I'd either recommend a rebuild at this point or open the transmission up and repair what is needed but if you went that far, just rebuild it.

First off love the name, lol. Ok I've read somethings where the Interior Lights are connected to the same circuit as the TCC and beings the Lights has a short somewhere and keeps blowing the fuse, i think that is why it sets off the TCC code. But, why would after cleaning the MAF make the car run great then all of a sudden starts happening again? I feel like there is something else and not the Trans.
